Jess Scanlan is a geologist who is super passionate about sharing the stories and experiences of the industry and the unique ways of seeing the world through a geological lens. Her mission is to help the broader public better understand and appreciate the importance of the earth sciences and the societal benefits of the mining industry when conducted responsibly.

Through her own company, MineLife Media, Jess works with clients from a broad range of geological industries to tailor their social media presence and marketing strategy.
The MineLife Media Blog shares stories across the wide range of industries, people, events, and places that Jess's work cross paths with, as well as fun geotourism guides and educational resources.
And her newest endeavor, The Rock Record, is Jess's focus on telling geological stories that help the broader public see the world as a geologist sees it - right down our alley here at Brunton!
