Scouting America Compass Instructor Kit

In 2026, Brunton became the official compass for Scouting America and the Orienteering/Map & Compass merit badges.  We are excited to support and participate in the education of such an important skillset for scouts.  Brunton will even be at the 2026 Jamboree in July!

This Instructor Kit has everything a scout leader needs when teaching navigation!  Teach your scouting group navigation and map reading skills, complete with TruArc™ 3 Compasses, an oversized transparent teaching compass, a new and improved laminated field guide, and links to a massive amount of digital instructional materials.  These are packaged together into a padded carrying case with a handle and slots that individually protect each compass.  Kits are available with either 12 or 24 custom-printed TruArc™ 3 Compasses.  

Like all Brunton compasses, the TruArc™ 3 compass is made with pride in Riverton, Wyoming, USA and is packaged with sustainable materials.  The compass comes with a new quick-release safety lanyard with inch/cm ruler markings for additional map measurement functionality.
